The Pharmacy Department is committed to providing comprehensive, progressive pharmaceutical services, based on available resources, to the inpatient population at Broughton Hospital. Pharmaceutical services provided to the consumers at Broughton Hospital include: clinical pharmacy services, drug distribution services, and administrative services. Delivering these services encompasses a wide variety of responsibilities including development and maintenance of a safe, effective, and efficient drug distribution system for our consumers, as well as compliance with the laws and regulations of State and Federal agencies such as the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy and the DEA.
Scheduled pharmacy hours are 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12 Noon on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays with a limited staff. The Pharmacy also provides an after-hours pharmacy service.
