The Dental Department utilizes a 1250 square foot facility, consisting of a waiting room, reception/appointment desk area, 3 operatories, sterilization island, x-ray room, darkroom, and a lab. A state-of-the art digital phosphor plate x-ray system and computerized dental records are accessed by 4 PC computers located throughout the clinic. X-ray images are produced by intraoral and panoramic machines. The dental clinic complies with American Dental Association, Centers for Disease Control, and Occupational Safety & Health Administration guidelines. |

The Dental Service has served as a student training site since 1976 and currently serves University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH) dental students, Western Piedmont Community College (WPCC) dental assisting students, and Catawba Valley Community College (CVCC) dental hygiene students. |

Our dental staff includes: Howard Blair – Staff Dentist, Robin Morley – Dental Assistant, and Amy Rogers – Dental Assistant, Doug Veazey- Staff Dentist. |
