Dr. Jerry McKee, the Pharmacy Director for Broughton Hospital, is a Registered Pharmacist.  He received his BS from the University of North Carolina School of Pharmacy in 1982 and his Doctor of Pharmacy from UNC
School of Pharmacy in 1998.  Dr. McKee received his MS in Hospital Pharmacy from UNC School of Pharmacy  in 1990 and is board certified in Psychiatric Pharmacy Practice by the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties .  He worked at Kings Mountain Hospital from January 1987 until January 1988.  In January 1988, he came to Broughton Hospital as Assistant Director of Pharmacy and worked in that position until February 1992. In February 1992 he transferred to Western Carolina Center as the Director of Pharmacy and served in that capacity until rejoining the Broughton staff (in August 2003) in his current leadership role.
