Organizational Structure

Broughton Hospital operates under the Secretary, Department of Health and Human Services, Carmen Hooker Odom and Michael Moseley, Director of the Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, and Substance Abuse Services.  Mike Hennike is the State Operators Services Chief within the Division; Broughton Hospital management reports to this position.

Close relationships are maintained with the area mental health programs and local managing entities through written agreements, reciprocal visits, participation on various task forces, and regular as well as ad hoc focus groups representing western region catchment area interests. Under these structures community needs are identified and long-range comprehensive planning is undertaken with Broughton Hospital contributing to and participating in these planning activities.
