The adult Psychiatric Rehabilitation Division is administratively directed by Renee Brackett. Ms Brackett is a native of Lincoln County in North Carolina. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Therapeutic Recreation and Psychology. She has made a career of providing service to North Carolina’s disabled in state institutions, beginning in 1981 at DD facilities in the eastern region of the state. Ms Brackett came to Broughton Hospital in 1983 and served in a variety of roles including the Director of Recreation Therapy before assuming the responsibility of directorship of the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Division (Division P).
