Broughton Hospital
Morganton, NC
Vision Statement

Broughton Hospital provides high quality, ethical, inpatient psychiatric care in response to the needs of the community it serves.  The hospital demonstrates effective treatment outcomes and strives toward patient and family satisfaction with treatment.  Our leaders wish to facilitate this vision with responsiveness to ideas of individual employees, treatment teams, and other work groups. Staff respect each other and take pride in their work and in the knowledge that they are making a difference in the lives of our patients.

Broughton Hospital commits to excellence by providing competent, respectful, inpatient psychiatric care in a well-organized innovative system.  The hospital sets standards of care, rather than simply attempting to meet them. Broughton hospital endorses and encourages a continuous quality improvement, problem-solving approach, which emphasizes an analysis of systems and processes, and actively involves those persons and groups who are most involved with an issue.  This teamwork-type approach promotes cross discipline, cross departmental, and cross divisional communication/collaboration where the overall mission and vision of the hospital take precedence in determining appropriate solutions.
